The ADDRESS bookcase by Cattelan Italia answers a design challenge: how can a bookcase move beyond flat two-dimensionality and work across all three dimensions? The answer is its tree-style configuration, developing 360° around a vertical axis.
Each round shelf can be set at any height, rotated and fixed in place, allowing infinite configurations against a wall or mid-room: geometric symmetry, a perfect spiral or a room divider of several modules. A single element away from the wall works like a sculpture. The shelves are in Canaletto walnut or burned oak with inward-rounded lower edges, and the frame in titanium or bronze lacquered steel with Oxygrey or Oxybrass details.
