The BIARRITZ pendant lamp by Cattelan Italia comes from an idea by Oriano Favaretto and recalls the shapes and materials of the metaphysical avant-garde. Shades of different sizes and colours orbit a steel ring like satellites, lit from within by LED light.
The frame is in satin iron grey embossed lacquered steel, the shades in clear, bronze and frosted borosilicate glass, and the stem in ribbed glass. It measures 50x40x51 cm.
The seemingly random composition is the result of a precise study of weights and volumes, and BIARRITZ gives a contemporary living room or dining room a refined, high-end feel.
