Bitta by Mogg: a thin metal structure and ceiling cable with an opal glass sphere and a marble counterweight resting on the floor.
Bitta by Mogg was designed by Sebastiano Tosi in 2020 — a suspension lamp with a thin black metal structure and a ceiling cable. An opal glass sphere gives soft, diffused light, while a marble weight on the floor anchors the cable, just as a mooring bollard (“bitta”) holds a rope.
A minimal, high-performing reinterpretation in which the line is the protagonist. Suitable for both living and dining areas, it is also available in satin gold.
