Greta bar stool by Cattelan Italia is a 2025 model from the Greta family, which brings dining chairs, armchairs and bar stools together in one style. The bar version has armrests and is made for kitchen islands and snack bars.

What sets the family apart is the split between the seat and the wrap-around cushion that joins the back to the armrests. Four stitches on the seat create a soft, refined capitonné effect, while the floating backrest is a curved, contoured cylinder that wraps around the back and ends in comfortable upholstered arms. Upholstery comes in leather or fabric: soft leather, synthetic leather, micro nubuck or fabric from the Cattelan Italia sample card. The cover is not removable.

The slender legs are elliptical-section steel tubes with an embossed lacquer in five colours: titanium, bronze, graphite, pearl and black. The back leg is in fact two legs set close together, giving the whole a sense of lightness and balance.
