King&Queen Cork Stool and Side Table | Mogg

King&Queen by Mogg were designed by Claudio Bitetti in 2015: stools and side tables in one object. Their shape is inspired by chess pieces — specifically the king and the queen.

Both pieces are in turned cork, a light, warm and natural material that feels soft to the touch. The low version works as a stool or footrest, the tall one as a small table next to an armchair. Placed together, several pieces create a playful composition that recalls a chessboard.
