The Nasdaq office desk by Cattelan Italia combines geometric shapes and materials into a piece with a monolithic presence, made with fine materials and the best of Italian manufacturing.
The top and drawers come in Canaletto walnut, Heritage oak or open-pore matt black elm. An optional leather pad, in a colour chosen from the Cattelan Italia leather sample card, completes the top.
The defining feature is the diagonal steel leg that cuts through the space in a single bold line. The wooden drawer rests on this leg and seems to defy gravity. The leg is made of embossed lacquered steel in graphite, titanium or bronze, and the structure and drawer unit are finished to match.
Nasdaq comes in two sizes. On the 215x100 version the drawer can be fitted on either side of the desk; on the 260x120 version it can only face the shorter side.
