NAUTILUS Modular Metal Bookcase with Slanted Partitions | Cattelan Italia
NAUTILUS bookcase by Cattelan Italia: modular steel units whose vertical partitions lean like sails on a windy day, also a room divider.
The NAUTILUS bookcase by Cattelan Italia has an evocative name that recalls fantastic journeys and legendary adventures, just like the books and memorabilia from around the world that it showcases.
Designed by Studio Brogliato Traverso, it is made of modular units set side by side or stacked, horizontally or vertically. Placed mid-room, NAUTILUS is a refined metal room divider: light passes discreetly through its vertical elements, inclined like sails on a windy day at sea. The finish is titanium, bronze, graphite or pearl lacquered steel. An optional ballast base is available; without it, wall anchoring is required.
Module: 100x26x100 cm; compositions up to 200x200 cm and beyond.
