Noon Wool Rug with Sunlight Reflection Print | Mogg

Noon rug by Mogg: a dark printed wool rug showing sunlight falling through a window, as if the room always held a ray of sun.

The Noon rug by Mogg was designed by Alessandra Baldereschi in 2016. “The sun comes in through the window, projects its shape onto the floor and lights up a portion of space. It lasts a few moments, until the light moves on.” That suspended moment — delicate and ephemeral like a passing shadow — is frozen in this rug.

The rug is made of 80% wool and 20% polyamide, printed, with a flush edge. The window reflection printed on a dark background gives the impression of always having a real ray of sunlight in the room.

Size: 200x300 cm.
