Ordinaryday Solid Fir Chest of Drawers | Mogg

Ordinaryday by Mogg was designed by Raphael Charles in 2011 — a chest of drawers made entirely of solid fir with a black structure. It recreates a pile of timber on an ordinary day in a carpentry shop — hence the name, “in a wooden factory”.

The planks are stacked slightly offset, giving the front a lively, rustic texture, while the drawers are almost hidden within the pile. With its strong, recognisable character, Ordinaryday becomes the focal point of a room. It comes as a classic chest and a long, low version.
