The 7Pillows armchair by Mogg was designed by Marcantonio in 2016. The idea is simple: the armchair should show how it is made — the completely open frame puts the craftsmanship on display, while the padding is made of cushions alone.
The classic-silhouette frame is in solid beech, entirely handmade, in a natural finish or stained in the colours of the sample card. Seven feather cushions are fixed to it with straps, each with a removable cover. The ironic immediacy of the cushions plays against the wooden frame and makes the armchair a statement piece for a living room or reading corner.
